mmmmm
Look at this yummy yarn:

It came today, for Cleo, for my oldest sister. I'm so pleased she decided to order this yarn. It's soft and the color is amazing. Kinda splitty, but I think I'll get used to it. And, for the first time in my personal swatching history, my gauge was spot-on the very first try!
I love elann.com. I got a good price on the yarn, and I received my order in two business days.
I'm excited to start it, but I think I will finish up Tiny Ribby Tank #2 first.

What kind of needles are you using? I've been working on a baby sweater using this yarn and it's driving me nuts. Started with some old metal needles I have and the yarn kept slipping off. Switched to bamboo and am much happier now. Still, each ball of yarn has collasped into a web of impossible knots. Spent the better part of two days trying to get one knot out, ended up cutting it when I just couldn't take it any longer. Now I'm re-rolling each ball before I begin to avoid the headaches. Despite all the problems, I love the way the yarn looks and feels. It's got a beautiful drape, and that purple you bought is stunning. Still, next time I think I'll find another cotton yarn to knit with.

I'm using bamboo, too, and yeah, the splitting is making me crazy. It's so gorgeous, but dayum, it splits easily!!
No problems with knots so far!
