I'm feeling slumpish...

I haven't posted in a while. I started working part-time, extremely early in the morning (as in, waking up at 3:30 am), so my normal evening knitting time has been replaced by, um, sleep. My circadian rhythms are all wacky, too, so I'm tired all the time and knitting while tired = naptime for me, so I haven't accomplished much.
I ended up taking back the Biggy Print & the 36s. That was an exercise in ridiculousness. Instead, I bought some Cascade Jazz and 19s, but even swatching that sucked, so that project is on hold for a while.
I finished knitting my sister's Cleo, and now I just have to find the gumption to seam it and put in the elastic. I want to get it done before I leave on my trip on Friday, but somehow I don't see that happening. Ugh. I don't know why seaming it has me in such a state.
On the plane, I'm going to make some serious progress on the Big Bad Baby Blanket, and hopefully have it done by the time I get back.

Then, what? Well, I need to add the hood to my "Under the Hoodie", I want to start something for my MIL, and I need to start xmas projects. I'm also going to knit a Booga for my aunt, whom I visited the last couple days and who is an amazing knitter, but who has never done any felting.
My (other) sister wants me to knit Rogue, but I don't know if I am quite up to advanced cabling. We shall see.
I also want to knit a soft, lovely hat for a sweet customer of mine who is undergoing chemotherapy. I think that needs to be next.

  • As to Rogue, if you have the pattern, try working the wrist cable panel in whatever spare yarn you have hanging around. It will give you a chance to try it out without a big commitment.

  • I am working on the Rogue for my daughter. I found that if I just follow the pattern, row by row, it actually works~! ( I know it sounds foolishly simple...but I have a tendency to read a whole pattern and try to second guess what i SHOULD do as opposed to what I'm supposed to do...if that makes any sense~)

  • Hi!

I got the progress pictures on my blog from http://www.indigirl.com/knit_tracker/

And the DNA scarf is in totally different yarn - cream so the cable is really obvious!

    Nice blog, btw!
