angry, sad, numb
Well, I am devastated. If it were just me, I could ride out four more years, but I am terrified for my children, for my daughter's rights. I am loathe to the idea that my children are currently being raised in a country that legislates hatred and bigotry. I am frightened for my 17-year-old nephew, because no matter what they say, if they don't get out of Irag quickly, a draft will be necessary.
I'm filled with fury and shame. Perhaps I'll be able to see through my tears enough for some soothing knitting later today.

I know what you mean. I am very disappointed. You are right, if we do not get out of Iraq, there will be a draft. How could there not?? Its reality.
