Things are not going according to plan! I bought some Katia Alba a while back from elann.com for Tempting and it knits up so beautifully, I was so excited, but guess what?
Bad math.
I don't have enough.
Elann.com no longer has any, and I posted a desperately seeking request on their board, but I thinks my odds are low. I've tried calling LYSs and noone carries it. I'm so sad! This was going to be the rockingest little top and I was planning to wear it for easter! I suppose I could buy replacement yarn and just stash the Alba, but I love it! And I have no yarn budget!! Very frustrating.
In other knitting news, I finally finished the back of my Ribby Cardi. I'm debating now whether to do the sleeves or keep plugging away on Tempting, hoping against hope that I'll come across more of the Alba.
Guess what's coming to town? The Seattle Knitting Expo!! I'm all geeked about it.

Oh no! Good luck finding the yarn... of course, I am sure you could always stash it and find something else. I hope something works out from the Elann board.
The knitting expo sounds rad... I wanna cross the country to go to it :)
