moving
I am about to have an extremely busy, discombobulated month or so. We are moving from Seattle to Albuquerque. It's happening in stages, though. We close on our house next week and move in with my in-laws for a couple weeks, then T & S head down so S can start 1st grade on time and T can start his job. V & I will be staying with my in-laws until September when we will head down. It's a very complex move, what with the moving van arriving before any of us do, staying in an apartment for six months until our house is ready, changing jobs, getting the kids adjusted to new schools, ad nauseum. This all equates to (even more) sporadic blogging in my future, and I can't even guess how much knitting I'll get in. I've got to finish Cleo for my sister before August 7 and I must finish Crumpets before summer is over (though it hasn't even really begun here in Seattle). Anyway, I'll update when I can! Soon, I'll be blogging from under much sunnier skies!

Lots of luck on the move. I'm very jealous that you are getting to go to Albuquerque. I lived in NM for five years and I long to go back some day... Best wishes!

Thankfully, knitting can be calming when things get stressful! I hope the move goes as smoothly as possible.
I like the new blog look, too! :)

Good luck with the move! We just moved about 3 weeks ago. The month before our move was almost entirely knit free, and I can't say that there has been much since. It just seems there is always something that has to be done. I figure I'll be settled in and able to knit at my old pace by about September! LOL!

new mexico is one of my favorite places on the planet--i have almost moved there on two separate occasions (long story). you will now be living near one of my favorite breakfast places in the country, the range cafe in bernalillo. word on the street is that they are opening (have opened?) a second location near UNM. you MUST check it out once you get settled in.
good luck with the move!

Very cute new design in here--I like the paisley background. Best of luck with the move--I *heart* New Mexico--many good years of my life were spent there! :)
