My best grrl, Scout had a briliiant meme idea-- post a picture of where you knit!
I had a touch of reluctance-- 1) I'm living in this generic apartment and 2) I'm not buying any "real" furniture until the house is done. But I decided that was silly. My knitting spot is comfy, if not glamorous.
Here's the corner of the loveseat I generally occupy while knitting. Next to it is an end table that houses my knitting books, ballwinder and circular needles. The laptop sits there in case I need a break or need to look up a yarn or read blogs or whatever.

I use itunes to find the podcasts, its all in the application, Ill have to check and see if it gives web addresses or not.

Your spot looks cozy! I keep my knitting books near me, too. More and more I use them as references.
I'll be SnB on Tuesday--last one before my month in CT. Ramona was right, needle felting couldn't be easier. So felt some stuff and we'll decorate it in January!!
